Junior DevOps

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining our current live and batch video processing systems. Your tasks will include creating and improving containerized applications, as well as deploying and scaling them. Besides, you will be tasked with automation of deployment, preparing infrastructure as code templates, creating and extending monitoring solutions and taking care of existing infrastructure.

We are keen to new ideas and give freedom in the taken approach and experimentation, but still pay attention to provide supervision and support from more experienced colleagues.

Full-time position. B2B contract preferred. We work mostly from the office, as we found out that this way ideas and knowledge propagate much faster.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving new functionalities
• Developing and maintaining infrastructure as code in public clouds
• Containerizing and maintaining current and new applications
• Automating deployment workflow
• Optimizing code and cloud resources usage
• Improving system reliability
• Developing and improving CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• Proficiency with Linux
• Proficiency with shell
• Proficiency with Git
• Experience with Docker
• Knowledge of distributed systems
• Some experience working with cloud environment (AWS/GCP)
• Fluent Polish
• Good command of English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Python
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with IaC tools – Ansible, Terraform or similar
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Experience with Gitlab
• Experience working in ML/DL or data engineering projects
